INFINITE Releases Dytor as Team Seeks New Fifth Player
44 days agoINFINITE has officially announced the departure of Martin "Dytor" Handl, who is now a free agent. The 23-year-old rifler joined the team earlier this year during a significant roster overhaul that transitioned INFINITE from a full-Romanian squad to an international lineup.
Upon joining, Dytor contributed to INFINITE's initial success, helping the team secure three first-place finishes in various tournaments, which propelled them to a peak ranking of 35th in the global VRS. However, the team's performance has declined recently, leading to a drop to the outskirts of the top 50 and disappointing results in key LAN qualifiers.
With Dytor's exit, INFINITE is now in search of a new fifth player to fill the vacancy on their roster. The team is under pressure to finalize their lineup quickly, as they are set to begin their Logitech G Play Connect 2026 campaign against Liquid on September 18.
